Located in Gyawo Chuja Village near Rebkong in Amdo, North-East of Tibet, Rigzin Rabpel Ling is the most important and most ancient Ngakpa House in the area. It was built by the rLang family in the 12th century and renovated by Rigzin Palden Tashi (1688 - 1743) who formed the Great Group of Rebkong Ngakpa known as Rebkong Ngak-Mang.

The Ngakpas and Ngakmos (women practitioners) are Tibetan Yogis who preserve and develop the culture and non-monastic spiritual tradition of the Tibetan people within modern society.

Their existence is very important for everyone in the Tibetan society as they are always willing to help others through their social and cultural activities (medicine, astrology, guidance to individual, groups and communities, literature, art.....).

Under the guidance of Dr. Nida Chenagtsang, Director of the International Academy for Traditional Tibetan Medicine (IATTM) and Co-Founder of the International Ngak-Mang Institutes (INMI), the plan is to build:

  • A classroom and a library in order to provide traditional education for new generations,
  • 24 meditation rooms with shared facilities.

The second phase of this project would be to build a small clinic where villagers can be treated according to Traditional Tibetan Medicine principles and where doctors can study and practice this ancient healing art.

To make this project become a reality, we need your help!

We offer you a unique opportunity to help these men, women and children
study and practice their rich culture heritage.

Those who participate through donation would have access to the meditation center under special conditions. A wonderful experience in a beautiful and peaceful village surrounded by mountains.....the ideal environment for studying and meditating.
